Calcium imaging live in drosophila brain after stimulation
A transgenic drosophila was imaged with the “Macro2Micro” add-on during a pulse of nicotine which induces a calcium wave in the fly brain. (Objective: 20x; field of view:0.9 mm) (A) The movie of nicotine induced calcium response in the drosophila mushroom bodies shows the different areas of the brain that are activated sequentially.
